Chile's Central Valley has a proven history of making excellent red wines from the great Bordeaux varieties of France, and of all of those Carmenere has become our country's signature red. Our soils and abundant sunshine, combined with cool nights and highly-experienced production techniques with this grape set us apart.
The Vigilant's intense and brilliant purple color leads to a nose of dark cherry and berry fruits, red plums and some delicate herbs. In the mouth it is quite bold and ripe, but well-balanced with a little toasted spice and soft tannins. A great companion for any type of barbecue and peppery cheeses.
